SYNOPSIS:

Javi (18) is on an empty beach, all he can see are small boats and empty cans on the sand. It is day break. In the background you can see the blur of some mountains. In one hand he holds a half empty bottle of rum and in the other a stone which he throws in the sea with rage. Javi continues drinking while Joaquín (19) arrives. He tries to convince him to come back to the party: “that girl is a slut, forget about her”. Javi says he wants to be alone. Joaquín sits down beside his friend who seems to be more depressed by the second. Joaquín who doesn’t know how to help his friend, looks into the distance at the impressive mountains in the backround. Javi tells him that it is Africa.

Jaoquín doesn’t believe him, he thought it was morocco. Javi laughs and takes another swig of rum. He surprises his friend when he says morocco is in Africa. They both laugh, Juaquín insists they go back to the party so that Javi can get one back on another girl, but Javi turns to vomit. Joaquín helps him sit up, it  would be best to return to the hotel and it was getting cold. Javi walks on pitying himself, everything has to happen to him. Joaquín tells him that at the end of the day life is a question of luck, some have it, others don’t. The guys pass a boat and step away. Inside the small wooden boat Rachid (16) a Moroccan boy comes out. He is wet and is nervously looking one way and another and he seems terrified…
